About Our Church
Ferry Field Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1885. Our Church is under the pastoral leadership of Rev. James R. Townes. A small sample of our Ministries are The Evangelical Ministry and Missionary, The Family Ministry, The Prayer Ministry, The Children's Church Ministry, The Food Pantry Ministry, The Clothes Ministry, The Music Ministry, The Choir Ministry, The Crisis Ministry, The Usher Ministry, The Christian Education Ministry, and The Media and Technology Ministry. Ferry Field Missionary Baptist Church works cooperatively with the Charleston County community, Johns Island community, state and local community leaders, non-profit organizations, Charleston county school district, and philanthropic foundations. It is our prayer that you will make our church home your church home after you have had a chance to visit with us.
